~January 24th~
Aayla asked her Uncle Matt if he would baptize her into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. How could he refuse such a request?
It was his honor to do so.
Aayla looked so sweet in her white dress.
And this man, well, he's just a hottie!
Aayla, Karley and Lydia. My three adorable nieces.
Ivy and Aayla are the same age and they love each other so much.
Aayla's dad. We call him Aaron.
Or sometimes I call him Sam. That's short for Secret Agent Man.
Ha! Nice fishbowl face:)
He is not a member of the church (yet!). But he is so supportive of my sister Kari and his three beautiful babies. And for that I admire him.
The sister missionaries in my sister's ward were so cute and full of spunk. And they shared a message that filled the room with an amazing spirit. Feeling the spirit is one of my favorite things. The gospel message is a message of love and hope and it brings into my life such peace and indescribable joy.
I am so proud of Aayla for having the desire to follow her savior's example.
The whole baptismal service was really special and I am so glad our family got to be part of it.
