Great Wolf Lodge

In mid-January we had the opportunity to go to Great Wolf Lodge with a bunch of the Gold family. I love my in laws! 

This place is one of my very favorite places to take the family. It's not too far away. I love that it includes a hotel room and food options are right there. 

Easy + everybody happy = perfect family get-a-way!

And to go with cousins was the best. These kiddos are the best of friends and they love every minute they get to spend together. 

 It's nice having kids old enough to go and do their own thing. And at Great Wolf Lodge I never felt nervous to let them be free...well, Rylie, Sophi and Eli, anyways. Plus, they always had a cousin buddy with them, so it was a good time to let them feel very grown up. Ivy still has a few years before we can let her do the same, but she had plenty of cousins to play with, so it was never an issue.

At Great Wolf Lodge you get to use the water park the night you check in and then the whole entire next day. I think that's a pretty good deal! We pretty much spent as much time being wet as we could possibly squeeze in.

 Or maybe a trip to Mexico?!? Yeah, that would make me happy, too:)
