Selling a house is not fun. At. All. Today we learned that the house we had an accepted offer on out in Forest Grove has decided to remove the contingency. Which means that we no longer have an accepted offer. I think they were hoping that we would sell our house quickly, and now that it appears that that won't be happening they have decided to keep their options open. And how can we blame them? Now I just feel confused. So confused. We have some big decisions to make. The thing is, we're on a time line. This has to be done before the next school year starts. That gives us just 5 1/2 months. So, realistically we need to be in the new house within 5 months. And if this house doesn't work out, from what we've seen on RMLS, we'd rather just stay here. Which wouldn't be such a bad thing. In fact, it would be a really good thing. We like it here. And our kids like it here. It would just mean that I would need to figure out a new business plan. The goal is an at home business, and the only option here is working out of my garage or getting a freelance license so I could travel to do services in other peoples homes and occasionally cut hair from my kitchen. That might just have to be what the plan is...
Life is so weird sometimes!
This is one of those life moments where I really wish I had a crystal ball.
But I don't. Do you?
So I will continue to be prayerful. And I will listen for those answers that I know will come.
Things will work out. They always do.

UGH! So sorry things aren't working out the way you had planned. Hopefully God has something even better in mind. My friend that cuts my hair here does it out of her home. If you'd like her number to talk to her let me know.
Hoping things work out for the best for you all!
Wanted you to know I've nominated your for a Liebster Award (http://jhessesmadhouse.blogspot.com/2012/03/liebster-award.html).
Love you to pieces, Tonya Gold! So glad you're my friend.
My hair dresser here in Vancouver works out of her home. She set up a little station in the entry way of her home. She used an old antique armoir, which houses all her cutting/styling tools. When she has a client, she sets a chair in front of the armior, opens the armoir doors and wallah- a hair cutting station. She uses her kitchen sink when necessary (rinse color out, etc). It may not be the "ideal" set up, but it works. You still have 5 months...you could still sell your house and move but if that doesn't happen, I'm sure you can come up with a creative solution! It will work out!
