it took us less than 10 minutes to find our perfect tree.

family tradition says that after the tree is decorated that it must be celebrated with hot cocoa!
We were on the ball this year and got our tree the day after Thanksgiving. You should be proud of us! That doesn't happen around here very often. We're last minute kind of people. Usually we're putting up the tree about 2 weeks before Christmas.
The weather was BEAUTIFUL and it felt good to get the house decorated.
I do have to say that it was annoying to have some of the radio stations playing Christmas music before Thanksgiving had even arrived. Rylie says I was a scrooge because I refused to give in. My rule is that the Christmas season doesn't start until the day AFTER Thanksgiving. One holiday at a time, people. Sheesh!
Does that seriously make me a scrooge?
Well, don't fret. I'm descrooged now.

i love love your Christmas tree! I wanted one like that this year but Bryan insisted that we couldn't have one..oh well, the 16 year old won :) I did pick up some different decorations though.
