Pendleton

Several months ago we were SO SAD to get the news from our friends, the Walker's, that they were going to be moving to Pendleton, Oregon.

While we were very happy that Jason graduated from dental school and that he had found a great job in Pendleton, it was hard to swallow that they were leaving us.

As soon as they moved we made grand plans to invade their new home. Seriously, I think we gave them a month, maybe less, to get settled.

So, on our way to Utah a couple of weeks ago we stopped in for a couple of nights.

It was GREAT to be reunited with our dear friends.

 We fell in love with Pendleton. Such a quaint and happy little town!

And they have a Maurice's. The home of my favorite jeans.

The Walker's also introduced us to the Pendleton Water Park. 3.00 for kids. 4.00 for adults. Seriously?
This place has it all. Water slides-like several of them-big,small and in-between, a HUGE kiddie pool, an Olympic size pool, cheap eats. It was groovin'. And it made it impossible for us to pay the over 20.00 per person that the Utah water parks wanted us to pay.

We had an awesome day! And trust me, we spent the whole day funnin' in the sun.

We love and miss the Walker family.

And while we would much rather have them 5 minutes away, we will gladly drive 4 hours to play with such great friends!
