On the last day of school Matt took off with the girls for a father/daughter campout. "Why in the world am I taking all this stuff for one night"? Matt wanted to know. It's all about building memories to last a lifetime. They had a blast.

Our rugged girls ready to hit the road. Notice the movie screen on the back of the seat. Whatever it takes to get them to their destination happy:0)

While Daddy and the girls were singing campfire songs and getting sticky with marshmallow, Mommy and Eli went on a date to Out Of This World. It was crazy fun and I was sore the next day.

Eli and his friend Nathan on these weird, space age cars. When the kids sat on them they just went, but they were not powered by battery. Cool!

Mommy and Eli stop on the moon for a hug.

This place was 4 stories high! Those crazy blue and red slides were a blast. They are huge and fast and made me dizzy. All worth the fun though. On the way home from this place we stopped by Kohl's to get some father's day ideas. It made me laugh when Eli said, "Mom, why don't you just let me pick things out so it's not so complicated"! It reminded me that my baby boy is getting so big and understanding words that I didn't know he understood. How does that happen so quickly?

I"ve never heard of this place before. Sounds like fun.
Sounds fun! Matt is brave to take the girls camping by himself-- Paul wouldn't do that. =)
How cute! That is really cool that Matt took the girls and you took Eli. Sounds like fun! That place you took Eli looks like a blast. Those little space age cars look really neat!
That was lots of fun-- Nathan was glad to have Eli to hang out with. Maybe next time he will be up for a slide too? You didn't mention how many times you went down the slide either my dear...
Father/Daughters and Mother/Son Sounds like fun.
We did Father/Sons and Mother/Daughter last weekend.
Looks like lots of fun memories were created!
How fun, I am sure they made many memories to last forever. How fun to have some time alone with your litttle man. When I was small I loved going on outings with my mom.
fun stuff...Joseph and Jaren have those weird space cars...wiggle cars is what the place called them. They have a blast on them still. They've had them for 2 years now! The girls are getting ready for daddy/daughter campout this weekend and the boys are being shipped to grammy's for the night so I can work!! Thanks to grammy!
The space place looks so fun! Eli sounds so grown up. How did the girls like camping?
What a neat little tradition! That place you took Eli looks so fun.
You're so great, Ton. Miss you!
Eli is one smart cookie...what did you let him pick out?
Kudos to Matt...he's my hero!
We do publishing parties in Zach and Lia's classes twice a year. I love them because it creates a nice, concise way to document what they did during the year, and all their best work is inside so there's no debating about what to keep and what not to keep.
that is such a great idea to have those little outings! i'm sure everyone loved their special time!
Where is this place at? Looks like so much fun!
Camping with the girls! Fun times. Can't wait for Megan to be old enough to take to the Father/Daughter campout. Jamie says she has to be out of diapers first...hehe ;)
What a fun family y'all are. I have been meaning to take Jake to the place you took Eli--but I'm not really able to keep up with him lately, but I will remember it for him and Ryan to go do.
Okay that doesn't really look like "camping" to me ~ what a cool place! And those crazy cars, "big kids" in our neighborhood take those down insane steep hills a million miles an hour. Hopefully Cayden doesn't catch on and remains his timid and careful self for the next 15 years!
That new restaurant looks fun--give me a call next time you venture over there...I'd love to try it out!
