Battleground Lake

I think we found one of our favorite lakes! It was so beautiful. The water was warm and clear. And it's only an hour from home. Why oh why have we never been here before?

Next summer we want to camp here.

Tami and I needed some sunshine. The shade on the beach kept us chilled, but the sunshine on the water felt so good! We could have spent hours out there. Thankfully the sunshine hit the beach just after lunch and the rest of the day was warm and filled with tons of fun.

I know Rylie is so happy to be going into high school. And it's a huge blessing that she has her good friend Ellie there to show her the ropes and ease her anxieties. 

Matt and Ben swam all the way across the lake. I'm pretty impressed with what a 35x zoom lens can capture. Look at those buff guys!
