Today Matt and Sophia are on a date. I'm not exactly sure what they are doing, but as I was sitting here my heart swelled with gratitude for a husband who takes the time to know each of his kids. Just this morning he asked if he could take me on a date tonight. I'm so grateful that he loves me so much. How did we get so lucky?
This picture is from a couple of weeks ago. Every other week Sophia attends a church youth group. They do fun things together and pass off goals. This activity is one the girls planned with their leaders; a father/daughter luau.
I wonder what we'll do for our date tonight?
I have been thinking I want to go downtown and check out the Grilled Cheese Grill. It looks really cool!
