Charlotte's Web

When Sophia joined Drama Club at Mountain View Middle School she was excited to be getting her first experiences on the stage. But never did she expect to get a lead part in the first play of the year. That doesn't happen commonly for a 6th grader! Those parts are normally reserved for 8th graders. So, she was in shock when she looked at the cast list and saw her name listed as the part of Wilbur.

She practiced and practiced and practiced.

It was adorable watching her and Matt read through the script. Matt = good, good daddy.

Last week she was in tears and doubting that she could really memorize all 144 lines.

Tonight was opening night and Sophia did awesome! She showed no fear and delivered her lines with confidence and gusto. She said that she felt like she might vomit right before the play began, but as soon as she said her first line all fear vanished.

She was in fact the cutest Wilbur I have ever encountered. Seriously!

So, if your in the neighborhood and want to come and see the show...

Where: Mountain View Middle School cafeteria
When: November 8th, 9th, & 10th @ 7:00 p.m.
Cost: 3.00 per person or 10.00 for any group of 4 or more

Be there or be square.

That is so amazing. Is the audience kid friends (can I bring Lu?)? She really is an adorable little actress!
