(This image has nothing to do with my smoothie recipe. It is however what I was craving. The below recipe is how I satisfied that craving...for awhile, anyways.)
I love this recipe for many reasons.
1. It tastes awesome.
2. It has a serving of fruit.
3. I love chocolate.
4. It's healthier than the donut I was craving.
5. My kids love it!
Chocolate Banana Smoothie
1 C. skim milk
1 very ripe banana
1 package hot cocoa mix
1/2 scoop vanilla whey protien powder
1 tsp. ground flax seed
Blend everything together in blender until well combined. Serve over ice if desired. Makes 1 large or 2 small smoothies.

yummers! i have what seems like a gazillion frozen bananas in my freezer just waiting for something, someone to come and do something, anything with them. good idea!
