I will miss you while your father and I are away. I hope that the next 10 days will be good. That you will get your homework done. That you will be helpful to Grammy and Papa. But mostly I hope that you enjoy your time with them. They love you so much and will take good care of you.
Grammy and Papa have been so thoughtful towards your daddy and I. They know that we adore each other and that it strengthens our marriage when we have time to just be together. Just the two of us. And I am so grateful to them for being willing to love and care for you while your daddy and I go to Mexico to celebrate 14 years of marriage. I love your dad. He is my best friend. I hope that when you grow up you are able to find somebody to share your life with. Somebody who will always help you to become your best you. That's what your dad does for me. He is an amazingly selfless, gentle and loving man. I am a lucky girl.
And I am lucky to have been blessed with 4 darling, bright, and amazing children. You bring sunshine to my life. I love being your mommy. Miss me while I am gone. I will think of you every single day. I will pray for your safety and happiness. I will be so excited to talk to you on the phone and share with you our many adventures.
Be good. Be strong. Be a light. Remember that you are a child of God and because of that you are never alone. Be happy. Be brave. Say your prayers. Know that I love you so much and that I will be home soon.
