We LOVE Spring

One of the best things about Spring Break is that we get to sleep in. My Favorite! And when Ivy gets up before Mommy and decides that she's hungry; what does she reach for? A bowl of vanilla wafers of course. Who doesn't? And look, she didn't even spill the milk! Which made me so happy because a large milk spill first thing in the morning surely would of made me grumpy. Unfortunately vanilla wafers turn to mush about one minute after bathing in milk, so the vanilla wafer breakfast party didn't last long. Ivy started spitting them out and whining that they didn't taste good anymore. Thank goodness for Cheerio's!
Playing at Magnolia Park. One of our favorites!
We love the game Quelf! We had a chance to play several times over Spring Break. Here's the bro-in-law wearing a snorkel that he had to construct and wear throughout the entire game. And Sophia had to put the game box under her shirt. It slightly tweaked me out that the box would get ruined, but it was part of the game so I let it fly. I know, call me a party animal.

On Saturday we gathered at Grandma and Grandpa's house to dye Easter Eggs. It was fun and messy, but mostly just fun. The kids loved hanging out with their cousins and we came home with 24 beautifully crafted & colorful Easter Eggs. I'm a little worried that hard boiled eggs won't last a week and a day in the fridge, so I'm not quite sure what to do about that. Maybe they will just be for show this year and I will have to make some fresh eggs for our Easter morning tradition of creamed eggs over toast. It would kill me to not make that sinful dish. It's seriously that good!

I didn't manage to take our camera on most of our Spring Break adventures, but I do know that we were busy and had something fun to do every day. And now that Spring Break is over we have just 2 1/2 short months to wait until summer break begins. I can't wait!!!

That Quelf game looks so fun! I'll have to try it out. Is it just at normal stores?

Ivy's breakfast of vanilla wafers sounds so yummy. I'll have to try that one,.... but I won't dare to let the kids see that one. They would be sold on that one for breakfast every morning.
We went to Magnolia park the last time we were in Oregon. LOVED it!! That really is the coolest park.
Our Spring break is next week and then we only have about 3 weeks left of school. Can you believe it?! It's been a quick year.

BTW...How's the house doing on the market? Are you all moving?
