As I was driving home from Target this evening I saw a huge meteorite fall out of the sky. It was not as impressive as this one, but impressive none the less. I was alone, so I thought I would call my honey to tell him what I had just seen. All he had to say was this,
" So, let me guess. Was it bigger than Uranus"? And then he laughed and laughed at himself.
Now, what was I supposed to say to that?

Don't you just hate when they laugh at their own jokes. Patrick is notorious for being the only one laughing when he thinks he has said something funny. It just must come with being a guy and having high self esteem. Where can I get some of that. Ha ha

That is so funny! I would have laughed too. I also laugh at my own jokes. Sometimes more than others laugh at my own jokes.

To set the story straight, I said "I bet it looked like Uranus", not "Was it bigger than Uranus?". Plus, that was just plain funny, I don't care who you are, that's funny!

"I bet it looked like uranus" is much better than "was it bigger than uranus." kinda like my husband yesterday when i was spilling all my money making ideas and he jokingly said i should "dance" for money and i laughed, no one would pay to see me dance and he said "they would if we moved to alabama" !!! OUCH ... then he felt bad and you can't beat what you can get a guilt ridden honey to do!
