Boo! We had fun with Halloween this year and all of us decided to dress up. We had a few opportunities to show our festive side. First at the Tripp family annual Halloween Party. I was LAME and forgot my camera for that. Matt and I were both dressed up like pirates. Rylie was Deb from Napoleon Dynamite. Sophia a southern belle. Eli was a ninja and Ivy a pink pirate.Here we are at our church Halloween carnival. Aren't we a scary looking bunch? Rylie had just come from dance and did not have time to dress up and Matt and I were lazy and did easy costumes. We also took the kids around the ENTIRE neighborhood and they ended up with bucket loads of candy. YES! Hope your Halloween was full of fun and lots of good chocolate:0)

I had to throw in these funnies from my kids. While driving home from carving pumpkins at Mom and Dad Gold's house( Again I was LAME and forgot my camera! ) this is what Sophia had to say.
" I love marionberry pie ice cream. If I don't have it once a week I will freak. If I don't have it once a month I will faint. If I don't have it once a year I will DIE"!
I know how you feel Sophi, except my dilemma is with chocolate on a daily basis. What's a girl to do?
While eating a delectable breakfast of toast with butter the other morning I overheard Eli saying, " Oh man, I'm so glad to have you around"! Then he would snarf another bite and say,
"Oh man, I'm so glad to have you around"! I asked him who he was talking to and he informed me that he was indeed talking to his toast. What a bunch of funny kids I have!
