Dear Ivy,

On June 2nd you turned 4 years old. Can I just tell you how much I love you? I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Thanks for bringing so much sunshine into our family. I can't believe that my baby girl is 4 already. You are really much more of a little girl than a toddler, and your getting quite sassy in your old age. Sometimes it makes me laugh and sometimes it makes me mad, but either way, I love you just the same. Just this morning you wanted to sit in the spot Eli was in, so instead of asking him to scoot over you just sat on his head, then refused to apologize. That's O.K. though, after a time out session on the stairs you decided to be 'nice Ivy' and you made things right. You find great joy in anything Barbie and also in playing house with your baby dolls. Lucky for you your family knows you pretty well and got you all set up with the proper goods to keep you entertained for hours. You got to do a lot of celebrating this year, but I forgot the camera for most of it, so these pics are what we have to remind you of your big day. Sorry about not getting any cake pics. Aunt Jen is taking a cake decorating class and even made you your very own cake with the most beautiful hand made roses. Maybe she will set you up again next year and I won't forget my camera. At preschool on Wednesday you got to have a party with your cute little friends. We had Popsicles and made princess necklaces. Maddy even gave you another Barbie! See, even your friends are in tuned with your very favorite things. What a lucky little girl you are. Well Ives, enjoy being 4. Mommy loves you tons and even though I try to bribe you into going to preschool, it really does make me feel special when you tell me over and over that you want to stay with me. You truly are my very favorite 4 year old girl.
