I found an amazing deal on this lake house at Rockaway Beach and thought it would be the perfect surprise birthday present for Matt. Sadly when I booked it I didn't realize that Rylie had dance dress rehearsals that weekend. I swear as the kids get older there is something going on Every.Single.Weekend! So we made arrangements for Rylie to stay with a friend and took the rest of the family to Rockaway.
It was a fantastic weekend! But we missed having Rylie there with us.
The house came with a paddle board, peddle boat and two kayaks. We lucked out with beautiful weather and were able to fully enjoy all that Rockaway has to offer.
Now we need to make plans to take the entire family next time!
