Happy Halloween!
I spent the day making chili and cornbread. Both were fantastic if I might say. Pinterest gave me the best ideas for "spooky" food. The "fingers" (hot dogs with boiled onion and ketchup) looked so nasty, but really tasted great and were so easy to make. The "teeth" (apple slices, peanut butter and mini marshmallows) were supposed to be for our Halloween dinner, but time was short and it didn't end up happening. They did become today's snack however. They were delicious and might just become a staple around here!
Rylie was Alice in Wonderland, Sophia and her friend Rebecca were matching glamour nerds, Eli a skeleton and Ivy a Gothic rag doll.
Matt and I were ultra lame and never got into costume at all. That's a first for me in many years:(
We had a blast hanging with the Moxley family! Holidays are much more fun shared with people you love.
The kids got way too much candy while trick or treating. Sophia and Eli counted their stash. Sophia got 144 pieces and Eli won with 243.
