Rylie and some of her fellow cheerleader friends on picture day.
Varsity Gold cheerleaders with Varsity Gold football players. Go Warriors!
We spent a fun day at the park with some friends. We had never been to 53rd St. Park before. It was COOL! These funky disc swings are huge! At one point Ivy was on it with 5 other little girls. Yep, way cool.
This is Sophia who refused to bring her swim suit because, I quote, "Parks are dumb and boring."
Another one of the cool toys at the park. It looked like a Christmas tree. The kids could climb all over it, but it twirled around. And fast. Kind of dangerous for the kids climbing on the top, but fun none the less. And of course, Ivy had to climb to the top. I only had to rescue her once.
Today was the last day of Sophia's Tiny Turtles Day Camp. It was a pajama party. And they got to watch Veggie Tales and have Mac-n- Cheese for lunch. The girls had a blast! I tried really hard not to freak out about the huge disaster zone my house appeared to be after the party was over. And for the most part I stayed in control. But Sophia knew I meant business after I said, " Part of owning a business and making a mess, is making sure that everything is back in it's proper order at the end of the day." Actually, I think that made her roll her eyes. It was really my threat to not take her to the bookstore that got her cleaning up. And we did make it to the bookstore before it closed.
Orange smile.
We finished off the day with the neighbor kids coming over to run in the sprinklers.
Which means I never made it to the bank.
But lucky for me, the bank will still be there tomorrow.

Oh that Rylie is so grown-up. She is gorgeous and so cute in her cheerleader uniform. Oh the days. The other day Jake found a pic of me in my cheerleading uniform and said "mom, were you a cheerleader?" I said "Yes". His reply was "That's weird." Hard to believe moms were people before they were moms. So glad you are enjoying the last bit of your summer.
