Happy 2010!

Grammy and Papa Gold hosted a New Years party at their house this year. It was also our chance to celebrate Christmas with them. This was their year to be with Ben and Emily in Virginia, so lucky for us, the Christmas holiday was extended! Now who could complain about that? We didn't leave their house until 1:00 in the morning and surprisingly all the kids were still going. Proof that the Gold's know how to throw a happenin' party! Craziness! Uncle Joe amazed us with his magic show performance and we had a good time just being together. Rylie and Sophia talked Grammy into a slumber party, so we took Eli and Ivy home and got them tucked into bed, just in time for me to realize that I had my second wind. Matt must have been feeling the same because he suggested that we watch a movie. We ended up watching The Ramen Girl. And we stayed awake for the whole show. Impressive, I know:0) It was a cute flick. Cheesy, but cute. Our heads finally hit our pillow at about 3:30 A.M. That is for sure the latest we have stayed up in a very long time. I guess we're not as old as we claim to be.

You guys are such rockin' New Year's Eve-ers. 3:30! I don't think I've purposefully stayed up that late since college.

You guys are party animals. We were at the temple today and took friends afterwards to Gustaz's. The last time we were there was several years ago with you, the Westovers, and Walkers. We ordered the fondu and as I remember you said something about having the recipe for it. Can my New Year's Resolution be to make fondu? Will you help my dreams come true? Please I need some fondue? How about you? Ok I'm done rhyming and begging.
