Last Sunday my sister Kari had her baby blessed . While her husband is not a member of our faith, he is so supportive of my sister's desire to attend church and to raise their kids in the same way. Aaron is about the most loving husband and father you can get and I am so impressed at the wonderful relationship he and my sister have. What an awesome privilege it was that they asked my sweet husband if he would do the honors of giving their beautiful daughter Lydia her blessing. Matt did a great job and I could feel the spirit so strongly.
After the blessing we all went back to Kari and Aaron's house to visit and take pictures and eat. It was such a fun day. Watching the kids play "fashion show" was hilarious. They did this for at least three hours. The older girls became the fashion designers for the little kids and would dress them up and then send them down the run way. They had all different themes like summer, nerd, princess, and rock star. I was surprised that the little ones went along with it for as long as they did. The star of the show was my sister Lori's son Spencer. The poor boy had to endure being dressed like a girl for the entire fashion show, but he seemed to soak in all the attention and milked it pretty good. He was so funny.
It was great to get to spend the day with family. Thanks for having us over Kari and Aaron. We love you so much! Your new house is darling, by the way.
