On Friday me and my friend Allison took off to Lincoln City for a weekend away. Can I just say that we have awesome husbands!
We both forgot one of these. What a bummer!
On our way out of town we stopped here to get some Christmas shopping done. We shopped right through dinner so...
we stopped and ate at a Mexican food restaurant to please our rumbling tummy's. Our plan was to eat as cheap as possible, so we used a buy one get one free coupon.
Then we stopped here to get some more Christmas shopping done. We found that it was overpriced. Weird I know, but very true. Is it the economy? I swear that Target has better prices.
The real purpose of our trip was to have 5 hours to watch Pride and Prejudice uninterrupted.
We stayed up until 2:00 a.m and watched half. I slept through the last hour. I must be getting old. Allison was a trooper and stayed awake. We finally went to bed and slept until 10:00 that morning and then watched the last half of the movie, plus the hour that I slept through. I am a Mr. Darcy fan!
We finally got out of the house and ate breakfast/lunch at 2:00 in the afternoon. We used a buy one get one free Whopper coupon. I don't remember the last time I ate a Whopper. YUM!
After lunch we headed off to the outlets. I didn't find much, which I'm sure Matt was happy about. After shopping for a few hours it was time to go home to our families. I had a blast and arrived home refreshed and renewed. Thanks for the good times Allison!

Fun! I've sent C. off on a week at the beach with one of her close friends a couple of times now. It's good to get away and recharge your batteries once in a while, isn't it? I guess I get that on my business trips, but then I'm... well... working.
Good for you! I think I am due for a re-charge myself-- maybe after finals and Christmas!
Fun Stuff!!! I wanna weekend at the coast!! Sounds good to me! Yes I signed up for Scentsy. It wasn't too bad to get started in and I have lots of people here that ordered from the Party that Kari and I had, so it just made sense. You gonna come on Saturday???? Host a party????
Sounds like a blast! I am so due for a weekend out! I LOVE Pride and Prejudice! The version with Kira Knightly is so pretty and romantic! But its only 2 hours long. I will need to check out the big, long one!

My girlfriend always does a sleep over on her birthday and we always watch Pride and Pred! :) Its the best!!
I know a great beach house in Lincoln City...we should get some ladies together and go down sometime!! FUN FUN! :)
How fun for you. You and Allison are so cute, I can just picture you guys shopping away. I think "girl time" is so good because I always come back a better wife and mom.
