Cards & Letters

The kids didn't have school on Friday so me and my sister-in-law Jen packed up the kids and drove out to Gresham to hang out with my two sister's and their friends. While the kids played and played some of us sat around and made cards. These are the ones that I came up with. I think they turned out cute. They will probably be used for weddings or maybe Valentine's.

Last week Timothy told Sophia that she had a big fat face. Sophia was not happy, either was the teacher. The next day Timothy gave this letter to Sophia along with an apology. Sophia accepted. I'm not sure if the letter was teacher forced or parent forced or written out of the goodness of his heart, but I thought it was great. If you can't read it this is what it says...
Dear Sophie,
I'm sorry that I called you a mean name. I will not do that again. Please forgive me for doing that. And i'm sorry I made those marks(I think he meant remarks). Sometimes I wish we could rewind life. So please forgive me.
Sincerely,
Timothy

Super Cute cards! Love the "Love" one the best.

I like those lightbulb moments when the kids get what they did wrong.

I love being crafty! Your cards turned out so cute! That letter from the boy to Sophia is great! Sometimes I wish we could rewind life, too! You'll have to save that letter! Wouldn't it be funny if she ended up dating the guy someday when she's a teenager?!

Great cards...I'll just start buying them from you instead of the store!

Good for that boy for apologizing. Lia had her hair ripped out in a fist fight with our neighbor. I marched her right back over and made her apologize, but the other mom didn't make her daughter apologize at all! I think it's good to remind our kids that they are sometimes in the wrong and need to do something about it.

Good for that little boy for realizing he had made a mistake and for making it right. Hope your sweet (and beautiful) daughter has recovered from the unkind words.

Your cards are darling! You got skills, girl :)

I'm so gald the mom made him apologise! It drives me crazy when parents just sit by and let their kids be mean--especially at an age when they know better! We love you Sophie!
