Life Isn't Weird, It's Just The People In It

During dinner tonight I suddenly realized that I didn't hear Ivy whining anymore. From my view at the table she appeared to be missing. Luckily I had my camera close to capture her doubled over and in a very deep sleep. That just looks painful!

I love summer days when the kids play outside non-stop and live in their swim suits! Tuckers them right out. Did I just use the word tuckers?

As I was finishing my left over burrito I looked up to see this staring at me through the sliding glass door:0)

Yep, that's weird.

Just when I thought my kids could not possibly get any stranger I happened to catch this on video, oh , about 10 minutes after Rylie's above act. Yes, we are weird, but happy I suppose.

It always amazed me when our kids were younger just how they could fall asleep in the strangest places and positions. As far as life being full of weird people, I suppose I'm not one to talk on that score... If I deleted every blog entry illustrating the various weirdness of our clan members I'd be left with... um... well I think there was a quiz-tag-thing in there... wait, no, that was weird too.

Dangit.

I'm glad Eli didn't have an explanation for his actions...sometimes we just do things to do them.

So if you say "tuckered", do you also use the words "supper" and "worsh-cloth"? Love the new vocab!

I love the sinner table pics! How can I get my kids to do that? And how boring would life be if we all had perfect children and perfect lives? This way we all feel better about our quirks.
