Last weekend we drove all the way out to Banks to celebrate our dear friend Julie's birthday. We had a blast dressing up in our mid-evil best to participate in a murder mystery dinner. I was Lady Diana of Dunnsberry. Matt was Baron Bartholemew and also my betrothed. The night was in celebration of our wedding, so I had to find the best mid-evil bridal gown I could find. My husband looked stunning in his uniform. We were one handsome couple I must say. Not long into the dinner Sir Rufus ( played by the man in tights known as Mark Temperini) was mysteriously murdered and that is when I was handed a piece of paper that notified me that I was the murderer. I had to spend the rest of the night trying to not seem guilty, and coming up with crazy stories to prove my innocence when people would question me. At the end of the night we all got to make an accusation on who we thought the murderer was and I am proud to say that out of 18 votes I only got three. We had so much fun and we were so grateful to be in the company of such great friends. Zan's Mom and Dad hosted the party at their home and fed us a grand feast of soup, pork, carrots, potatoes, homemade apple (or berry) tarts and not to mention all of the amazing appetizers beforehand. They worked so hard all evening to make sure that everything was perfect. Thanks guys! I am so blessed to call Julie my friend. She is so kind and insightful and I learn so many things from her. She also motivates me to be an all around better person, for which I am so thankful. I love working with her in Young Womens. She is truly one amazing woman! I hope you had a happy, happy birthday!

We have done 2 mystery dinners since we've moved here. They are a BLAST! Especially when you get decked out in costume.
Thanks Tonya! We won't hold your crimes against you. It wouldn't have been a party without you.
