Happy Birthday to Tonya!

Today is my 32nd birthday! I don't mind getting older at all. I look back on all of the happenings in my life and I am absolutely sure that I have chosen the right path. I have a wonderful husband who loves me so much. I can feel everyday how much he cares for me. How I got so lucky I will never know. I am sure that we were madly in love before we ever came to this earth and I am honored that I get to spend forever with this amazing man. I am the mother of 4 beautiful kids who make my days so full of love and life and I can't imagine anything else I would rather be doing then raising my babies. Even though I am the meanest Mom in the world(my kids have told me that I win the contest:0) I could not imagine my life without them. I love having so many of our family members so close to us. We get to see them often and that is definately a blessing. I love that my kids are good friends with their cousins, just like I was good friends with many of my cousins growing up. I am blessed with friends who show me so much kindness and concern. They enrich my life in ways that they don't even know. I am uplifted and full of happiness because of all the wonderful people who have chosen to love me and my family and call us their friends. On this 17th day of April, 2008 I am full of gratitude to my Heavenly Father for helping me to get where I am today and I would not trade any of my experiences, as hard as some of them have been, because they have helped to shape my character and strengthen my testimony. Now for a quick explanation of the pictures. My sweet friend Alesha made the beautiful cupcake garden for me. She is watching Eli and Ivy for me today so I can go to Baja Fresh with some girls from my ward to celebrate my big day. Though I really want her to be there I understand her not wanting to take her 18 month old triplets. She says that watching my kids is her way of letting me enjoy chat time. Thankyou so much Alesha! Sophia made sure that she was downstairs before me this morning so she could make me a birthday breakfast. She made me a blueberry bagel. One with strawberry cream cheese and one plain, just to shake things up a bit. She even prepared a fine goblet of water for me! I loved this surprise this morning! Thanks my Sophia:0) On Tuesday Matt took our family to Bullwinkles Family Fun Center to help start off my birthday celebrations. Here we are at the miniature golf course. I am so glad we got to spend that time together as a family. Now I am off to Baja Fresh to gorge myself on a burrito. I am so thankful to my friend Sarah for planning this get together and for loving me and my family so much. This weekend I will continue the celebrations by going out to dinner with friends Scott and Allison, who are introducing me to The Claimjumper restaurant. I am excited for that adventure! On Sat. we will party with the Gold family and on Sun. we will finish my birhtday celebrations with the Tripp family. Here's to another great year!

O.K., Claim Jumpers was so good! I was expecting bigger portions though. Not that I needed or really wanted that, but I was expecting something gargantuan(is that a word)? I got the tri-tip dip and a salad and I didn't have one morsel of leftovers. There were 4 of us that shared the chocolate motherload cake and that was what I would call HUGE. I want to go back:0) Thanks for all the awesome comments from all you lovely peoples.
